I am a relentless gatherer of information.  Much of my time is spent observing and reading.

My process of making art is the way that I digest and restate that information in my own way.  I don't have it all figured out when I begin to focus on a subject.  The creative process allows me to come to terms with how I feel about it. This usually takes shape in a series, or body of work.

My work is characterized by a heavy use of symbolism.  I employ drawing, painting, printmaking, assemblage, and poetry as tools of expression.

I received a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from Northern Illinois
University in 1989.

My work has been exhibited throughout Illinois and Wisconsin and
is held in private collections throughout the United States.
