"Imperfect & Beautiful" is an original acrylic painting on paper and stretched canvas. I love to draw and paint labyrinths; it can be a calming thing to do. I attached one of my labyrinth drawings to the checkerboard design I'd created on canvas. I cut the edges of the labyrinth to make fringe. Then, I happened to find a hand-made pin on the ground in a parking lot one day on which someone had printed "Imperfect and Beautiful". I hooked this to the center of the labyrinth.
The painting measures 17” x 17” point to point; framed, it measures 19.75 inches both tall and wide. Wired and ready to hang. On the back is a poem I wrote about my first experience walking a labyrinth.
