I began this painting by placing a piece of masking tape in the center and adding a wash of color. I let it dry between additional layers of color and at some point removed the tape. The more I pondered it, the more it looked like a door to somewhere. I gave it time to suggest other options before adding hints of a figure.
This tiny painting entitled "Entrance" is pressed between two acid free mats and protected inside a plastic sleeve. It has a clean margin around its 4 sides to provide options for matting & framing.
