I attended a Lynda Barry "Writing the Unthinkable" workshop in November of 2019 (just before Covid 19 shut things down for awhile). During this wonderful learning experience I made a quick drawing of a man holding his arms out straight for birds to land and perch. My friend Mary has since that time urged me to do something with this drawing. I think she will be happy to see that I have finally made this little zine to tell a story about a made-up person who I wish I could be.
Eight pages include front, back with illustrated story in between. Black & white printed on 8½ x 11 paper, slit and folded into 4¼ x 2¾" booklet. Placed in protective wax paper sleeve with my Turtle logo sticker.
