"Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers." This anonymous quote was given to me in a small frame by a good friend. Because it has rallied me through challenging times, I want to share it with others. I created this digital poster by using the Canva app, adding the quote to my pastel drawing - referencing my photo of a couple looking out over the Andes mountains in Chile ©1998.
I have shown in my photos how I printed this digital download on letter size (8.5 x 11 inch) paper with my own printer. But larger posters may be printed if desired, because the file is quite large (1600 x 2000 5.7 MB saved as png).
If this is your first time purchasing a digital image download I offer a bit of guidance: if you have your own printer, that will work. But if you plan to take the image to be printed elsewhere, you’ll need to save your file to a USB drive. Online printing vendors will request that you upload your digital image to their website. I thought purchasing a digital would be a neat idea because you could have endless possibilities for making it into physical artwork. The process to retrieve the digital file was very simple. I went through my email to which I was directed on how to download. From then on, I went to Shutterfly to get it printed in an 8x10 form. When it arrived the print looked stunning because of the great resolution I received! I found an old frame that worked with this size. The artwork is perfect to represent our time at home!
